This is the Nubble!

The diving area (left side as you look at the light house) is a well protected cove area with easy water entry. Because the area is protected, visibility is usually pretty good and very little current. Since, we’re in Maine, you better believe the water is cold! The coldest temperature I’ve dove in at the Nubble was 39*F at a depth of 60 feet. Very numbing, but it is worth the dive!
Driving directions to Nubble Light
As you can see there’s some parking; however it fills up fast. You can scuba dive every day except on Sunday. Also, there are restrooms which is a nicely amenity.
Here are some marine life you can see while diving at the Nubble!
Northern Red Anemone
Lump Fish
Sea Raven
Striper
Wolf Fish (wolf_fish_3.jpg)

My dad spends a lot of time here at the Nubble. He is the one who provided me with these pictures; and he has many more! This is a must scuba diving site!
